Bob Ellerby
At a very young age it was clear that Bob would be in business for himself. He started working at the ripe old age of 14 detasseling corn for Pioneer Seed Company in Iowa during the summers. Later, Bob joined the retail furniture industry beginning on the sales floor and ascending all the way to corporate headquarters. His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to the customer is what set him apart.
By the early 2000s, Bob and Karen started servicing the furniture industry from the wholesale side, supporting the end consumer to get the finest service available in an industry known for problems. After developing a love of RVs, they began looking for how they could bring that same first-class service to the RV industry.
Bob didn’t want to be a technician AND an inspector. He wanted his clients to know that he had ONE goal — to serve them without any possible conflict of interest. So he sought out the premier training for RV inspector business, and it was crystal clear what training they needed. They went through the Blue Ox Endorsement program to make sure their clients get the very best, First Class Inspection.
Karen Ellerby
Karen began her career in the furniture industry at a young age. She started as a sales associate, then moved into the office as office manager, and was later promoted to store management in NM and AZ. After store management, she and Bob purchased a fabric protection business working with hundreds of furniture retailers. She has great attention to detail in running furniture stores and the protection business, along with all the accounting and reporting essential for a successful business.
She loves the RV lifestyle, meeting new people, and making new friends. She would like to enhance this experience with fellow RVers and help them with their buying decisions through First Class Certified RV Inspector.
